The Angel Eyes Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to providing aid for essential specialty contact lens products (over the counter solutions and tools) as well as assisting a number of individuals each year with obtaining their lenses. Applicants must have Keratoconus and demonstrate financial need.
You must have established care with a provider as well as the final cost needed for your sclerals included in your application. We pay offices directly or in some cases, lenses may be donated from partnered manufacturers.
You can donate to The Angel Eyes Foundation through our website by clicking on the 'Donate' button on the homepage. Due to the large amount of applicants and little funding we are only able to assist with a small number of sclerals each year.
The Angel Eyes Foundation aims to help anyone diagnosed with Keratoconus in need of supplies/specialty lenses who does not have insurance coverage or insurance will not cover the cost and meets the income threshold. Applicants must reside in the United States, have a kc diagnosis, and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for consideration.
We will reach out to the email provided in your application informing you of your selection. The Angel Eyes Foundation board meets once a month to discuss and review eligible applicants
We carefully review all eligible applications on a case-by-case basis. Please note that we do not offer assistance for backup pairs of lenses. However, if an applicant's initial pair was damaged outside of warranty and they are unable to promptly replace them, we will consider their application alongside other relevant factors.
The Angel Eyes is recognized as a 501c3 organization, all donations made to The Angel Eyes Foundation are tax-deductible.
A dedicated mom, keratoconus patient, and social media voice, Ash has turned her persoal journey with KC into a beacon of hope, shining a light on the importance of early detection and the necessity of regular eye exams. As a prominent figure in the KC community, shes become a champion for those facing this challenge. Experiencing the financial strain of kc treatment firsthand, and witnessing countless others struggle to afford functional sight, ignited Ash's passion to make a difference. Thus, The Angel Eyes Foundation was born, aptly named after the endearing nickname her mother coined for her. It's a name that now symbolizes the hope and support she extends to others.
